Wilder Boot - Brown

Don't miss our limited run of Wilder Boots!

We have a limited number of boots available this winter, so order before they're gone!

Wilder boots have the barefoot features you demand (zero drop, foot shaped sole, no arch support and minimal 10-12mm stack height) with the quality and style you expect from a handcrafted stitch down construction boot. We use only the finest 5.5 oz American oil-tanned leather and rugged Vibram soling material to construct our Wilder boots! Our boots ooze quality and craftsmanship because each one is hand cut and lasted here in our Santa Cruz workshop. Discover unparalleled quality and style for your barefoot needs

Full-grain, American oil-tanned brown cow leather creates a durable and stylish construction, while the partial lining made from chrome tanned cowhide provides softness and comfort for the back of the heel and top of the foot. With three sole options customization is easy to achieve the perfect balance of form and function! Held together with a stitch down construction, the Wilder will keep water and other elements out easily, while still a timeless look and feel that can easily go from the trail to a night on the town! Order the Wilder boot today!

The leather on these boots may have natural blemishes (scarring, scratches and insect bites the cow acquired in its’ lifetime) due to the fact that we use a full-grain leather. We believe full-grain is superior because the leather on your boots will have a more unique and natural character, as well as durability and water resistance than ’grain-corrected’ leathers.

Please note:  Processing time for the boots will be 3-4 weeks from time of production.

We are not currently accepting custom orders for the boots at the time, boots are only available with the sole and leather options below, in our standard boot design shape.

Quality

Love these. A bit tight in the midfoot for me. So, I took them to a local cobbler/bootmaker, who immediately commented on the quality of the build and choice of materials. They’re almost done being stretched a bit, and should be good to go..

Amazing quality

I too found these to be too tight in the mid-foot, and so I used some shoe stretchers, which worked, although it took some time. The more I wear these the more I like them. The quality, of course, is phenomenal. Where else will you find such hand made boots, made of the finest quality materials? These are boots you can keep for a life-time (with some resoling along the way). In terms of fit, I would have preferred a couple of millimeters narrower in the front and a bit more room in the mid-foot.

Tight midfoot

I’ve been wearing minimalist footwear for a long time, but the wilder boots are my first experience with Shamma. The build quality and the materials of the boot seem phenomenal. The fit however leaves room for improvement. Out of the box, the boots were very tight in the midfoot area (around the stitching at the bottom of the tongue). Since they arrived, I have been wearing them for 20-30 min indoor walks almost daily with minimal improvement in the fit so far. I will continue doing so for the foreseeable future in hopes that they will continue to break in. If the fit loosens up over time and they’re no longer too narrow/tight, I will update my review.

Wilder Boot

Awesome boot. I love my Shamma sandals and the fit of them so I thought I’d try out the new boot. It is a very well made boot with a firm and well tanned leather. They should break in very nicely. For sure a one and done type boot. I think it is very important to support any company that is producing very high quality American made shoes and products. Keep up the innovation and quality and you’ll keep this customer for life.
